TODAY I SAW A CONSTABLE SITTING AT THE PARK IN HIS VEHICLE HARASS A YOUNG BLACK MAN THAT WAS THERE TO EXERCISE. If you have young, black children, be careful with them being at this park without supervision. I've been going to this park about 3 years now. I notice that there has been a Harris County Constable parked there this week. I saw that he a young black man pulled over in the actual parking lot. I asked the young man what the issue was. He said that the constable pulled him over because he did not use a turn signal when going into a parking lot. After the officer was done harassing this young man, I noticed that the officer was generally pulling anyone else over that did turn on their turning signal.

I love this park. I give it 2 stars as an indication to decent black people that America's greatest symbol of racism, evil, and wickedness (police) is doing their best to now manifest evil...

This park is nice, if you are a runner and want the safety of a nice fence in the early morning hours or in the evening.. However, it can still be kinda creepy to have to run/walk here at night, as it is closed off, there are a lot of trees, and it seems like this is where vagrants seem to like to sleep. During the day time, this is not a half bad place to come and get in a good jog. After school hours, as a parent, the park is nice, and not too over crowded. On the weekends, there are a lot of family parties held here. It can get loud, and quite annoying if you are look for a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors. All in all I give this park 3 out of 5, simply because it's not the best, but it is far from being the...

Really enjoyed this park. Lots of benches, trees, and a dirt trail perfect for a stroll or run. A couple of gazebos, tables, a few charcoal grills, and playgrounds for the kids. There's even a building for restrooms! No trails for bike riding here, but just half a block up at Phase II of the park is a gigantic location (7 mile trail!) for cycling and scenic views. Only downside might be the proximity to the Westpark tollway, but the traffic almost serves as white noise. There is also an open field just across the street where one could find plenty of space for a game of catch, a yoga class, or some activity that would require a bit of space. Plenty of trees...

Great spot to take in a little nature right in the middle of town. From a quite walk to a pumped up workout there is something here for everyone. I also enjoy fishing on occasion. If you like bird watching... this place is a Mecca. To many species to list. All in all, it's a great place. Everyone seems to be real friendly. I highly recommend.

The park is lovely. There is a long track with plenty of outlets if you're unable or don't have the time to go far. There are benches if you need to stop and rest. Lots of folks go on the weekends, elders as well as the young. It has a peaceful feel to it. I totally enjoy this park and it's a bonus that I live nearby.
