I travel for work and saw the park on my map. I stopped for PokĆ©mon but when I got to the park it was strewn with trash and debris. I was in awe of what the park could be with some TLC. Either from local groups or pretty much anyone. I picked up some of the trash but the bins were full. What I loved most was the plum? trees along the walk. If anyone knows what kind I would love to know. I grabbed a bunch that had just fallen and gathered some seed pods to bring home and grow. If you live around the park, it’s worth some time to get together to clean. With funds for maintenance drying up all over it is on us to keep these places great. If I’m ever around I will gladly help! Place has amazing potential !!!!

I grew up coming to this park & recently I’ve been coming back with my daughter. I love this park it holds so many good memories. BUT it has gone down hill so badly. It makes me feel like no one cares about our community anymore. Come on man does it take the city that much money to upkeep the playground at least for the kiddos. Another thing is that it’s roach infested now too! Positive part is walking path is clean & well lit, & basketball court is great for teens.

I don't know what Parks and Recreation is doing but they are not cleaning THIS park. I know that people can be dirty and have trashed this place but still, these are taxpayer here in this community and to see that Parks and Recreation doesn't bother to even pick it up is really bad. So me and my fiance are planning on making it a weekly task to go and clean our park. It's a beautiful park with beautiful scenery but it's just not cared for all by the citizens or by the Parks and Recreation. You would not see this in other taxpayer...
