Scenic Woods Park — Attraction in Houston

This park is where I grew up. We were either swinging or sliding down the slide and climbing the monkey bars. During the summer, as we grew older, we would play baseball (at the baseball field) boys against the girls. Whoever won had bragging rights! We enjoyed Scenic Woods Park! I really don't know if this is a Scenic City ran Park but it definitely needs a redo while I was there the grass was totally overdrawn what is that a fairly nice neighborhood the picnic tables look like they had literally barbecued on top of them burnt circles on every table it really needs to be touched up if it is ran by the city they need to fix it if it's ran by The Neighbourhood Association they definitely need to get on the ball...

I used to visit this park all the time as a child. It was so wonderful and happy back then. Now, it is little to nothing like it used to be. Some of the physical changes they have made are adequate but they don't come close to the former glory this park once had. I have not been to that park in years. I only walk by.
