The Bridge at Lake Houston Events — Attraction in Houston

I recently had an event at The Bridge at Lake Houston in Huffman. One word describes the Cathy (the owner), her staff, and the venue … PHENOMENAL! The venue is simply gorgeous. That’s obvious in their pictures. But the care, service, and professionalism from Cathy and her staff was beyond outstanding. They truly cared to make sure my event was perfect, as if it was the most important day in their own personal lives. There are almost no words of how blown away I was with the attention they provided in the event planning, and on the day of the event. I just happened to find this venue through an online search, and it’s one of the best finds ever. If you need a venue for a party, wedding or special event, you should be sure you have The Bridge at Lake Houston on the top of your list to contact. I promise you will not be disappointed. It is a wedding venue, but they can host other types of events as well. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to Cathy and your team for making the day...

I recently attempted to book a large birthday party at The Bridge at Lake Houston for next year, with over a year and a half’s notice. The owner, Cathy, told me they don’t allow birthday parties on Saturdays because those days are reserved for weddings. However, I personally attended a friend’s birthday party there on a Saturday just this past April, so the explanation doesn’t add up.

What’s more frustrating is that there’s no way to know if a wedding will be booked that far in advance, so it felt like an excuse. I’ve been a loyal customer, and I expected better treatment and fairness. Unfortunately, I walked away feeling like the owner had something personal against me, which is both disappointing and unprofessional.

The Bridge at Lake Houston was one of the most amazing experiences I've had with a venue! We had looked at so many places to find the perfect place at an affordable price for our wedding, and when we met Cathy, she was so great! She was very informative and detail oriented! They provide so much, compared to other venues, and provide top notch service! Our wedding was so beautiful and fun, and Heather, the wedding day coordinator, was so on point! Everything went so smooth because they all care and respect and value their bride, groom, family and friends! They designed a ballroom perfect for us with lavish decor, even to the gold silverware, and fog for my entrance! It was absolutely amazing and i highly recommend to ANYONE wanting not only a wedding, but a venue to fulfill any need you have! They are so communicative and helpful and thoughtful! We had so much fun!...
