A Beautiful Park!

Pamperin Park is a great place to bring the family for any occasion you can think of. There are weddings in the Gazebo and in the great hall, built in Charcoal-Grills near gathering locations. Plenty of room for parking, with an amazing footbridge to cross the river that cuts the park in twain. Crossing the bridge brings you to an area with a Disc-golf course and beautiful trails.

In the main area of the park you are greeted by a large jungle-gym area for the little ones complete with a wooden Space-Shuttle to inspire young minds, including teeter-totters, swings and other park equipment.

Near the back if you go past the Gazebo you come across the main parking area and a large open field area intersected by a small copse of trees and another large field area, behind which there is a nice wooded area perfect for hammocks and other activities.

And if you happen to be there on Saturdays around 1PM you can even watch and participate with a local Larping group playing Amtgard, a safe boffer style game of tag! (putting it simply)

PS: There is a Pokemon Go! Gym near the back of...

My kids had so much fun here! The playground is great!

I'll add, though, that I never went to the playground before. I've seen comments about how it used to be a wooden castle playground, which makes me sad that they tore it down.

This playground is super awesome! But I love the uniqueness of the wooden castle playgrounds. I've made a point to stop at every one I find on our road trips. It would have been nice to check this one out while it was still like that.

I also saw another comment about how there used to be more shade. I definitely agree that these newer playgrounds end up taking out a lot of the trees and so there always ends up being less shade, which definitely makes getting overheated more of a concern.

Still, I really enjoyed this playground. And my kids had so much fun, too!!! My youngest was ecstatic about the ziplines! I would definitely recommend this playground to anyone. There is a lot of different fun stuff to do. It keeps you...

I was here for the disc golf course today. The course has 9 baskets. The baskets are like new. Each basket has two tees, for a total of 18 holes. The whole course looks like it is under construction for new tee pads. Right now the tees for #3 and #12 are missing. You need to create your own tees. Some of the signs are missing from the tee pad. This makes things a little confusing. (Especially at 3 and 12). I am guessing they are waiting for the new design to be in place. Update: The course IS under construction. It will finished this Fall or Spring of 2019. New concrete pads, and 18 separate holes. I probably would have rated this 3 stars but it is a big beautiful park. It has a nice shelter that can be rented for receptions. A little stream with a cool bridge runs through it. It also has a big newer...

This was our 1st time visiting this park today. My kids ages 5,6. Really enjoyed it. It's very unique with the wood play area. Has swings, tunnels, monkey bars, slides, climbing areas, chimes, tic tac toe and so much more. Lots of space for a picnic and plenty of table areas. Bathrooms are across the road by the parking lot. Little bit of a walk but at least they have restrooms. Parking lot is big enough for many cars. My kids gave it the stamp of approval and I've added it to my list of favorites. Highly recommend to anyone with children!
