Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center — Attraction in Howell Township

My family enjoys spending a lot of time there. The children are always in awe over the exhibits. The wall of animal tanks with turtles, snakes,frogs is wonderful. The indoor pool with white catfish & turtles is entertaining. The beaver den is cozy for the kids to crawl into. The theater room is a refreshing way to get out of the summer heat or winter cold. The kids love the Lego table & puppet theater, outside the white deer exhibition. I like the coloring table at the entrance with a big selection of wildlife to color by numbers. The facility is always clean inside and the grounds outside. The family enjoys looking thru the telescope by the boat ramp for the eagle's nest. Truly a beautiful place to visit all year long. Manasquan Reservoir itself is absolutely beautiful. It's truly a sight to behold. But I want to tell you if you ever need to use the bathroom, there is no need to hold it. You'll enjoy your bathroom break! THE BATHROOM STALLS and FLOORS ARE CLEAN, HEATED and WELL STOCKED WITH TISSUE, SOAP, PAPER TOWELS, EVERY FAUCET WORKS, and A WORKING HAND DRYER. Visited the Environmental Center yesterday with my 3.5 yr old. Becca was extremely kind to my son. She spent about 15mins explaining, showing and teaching my son about the animals that are in/around the reservoir. She made it fun, he was fully engaged.
