The Patterson Family Barn — Attraction in Howell Township

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said in other reviews, but if your party size will fit in the barn - stop your search. The venue is beautiful, new and well maintained. The space is cozy and intimate while also providing everything you need for your event. The only downside, currently, is that the bathrooms are in a trailer outside. But they are in the process of building permanent ones as we speak, so this won't be an issue for much longer.

But above all that is Sharon and her family. Everyone was so nice and accommodating from the first day we visited for a tour until we pulled out of the driveway after our son's party tonight. It seems to be more and more rare these days to deal with an event vendor who behaves like a normal human being and treats you like one in return. My wife asked Sharon approximately 1,378 questions between the day we booked and the party and she was quick to answer every single one. When we arrived to set up today, she asked multiple times if we had everything we needed or if there was anything she could do to help. And then she checked in every 30-60 minutes during the event to make sure all was well. Top notch customer service right there!

We held a very non-traditional gender reveal/babyshower/party here. We started with something that was more of a cookout style setting with outdoor activities for the kids, including a bounce house. Inside, we had a buffet table with some light music. After the reveal of our baby, we had a DJ and a Mariachi band play. My boyfriend is Mexican, and it was extremely important for us to mix in both cultures. No other venue that we looked at was going to be as affordable or helpful in bringing our vision to life. They don't force you into using outside services either. Instead, they just provide you with a list of vendors if you need it. Besides the place being beautiful, the staff is what put things over the top. Being 8 months pregnant and just all over the place in general, I felt so behind and embarrassed. From 8am until 11pm, they were the perfect hosts. They helped with setting up, constantly making sure everything was running smooth, and didn't make anyone feel bad that it was so much to break down and clean up after. I work in the service industry, so naturally, I have high expectations and it's been a very long time that I can write a review like this. I cannot recommend this venue enough! We had our daughters first birthday party here and from the booking process to the moment we arrived the day of the party the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I have thrown alot of events in my lifetime and Shannon and her team are the nicest, most attentive, and incredibly accommodating by far.
