If you love the history of the revolutionary war, you NEED to go here. The battlefield is set in the middle of the beautiful Vermont countryside. There a small museum onsite with a really nice guy working there who loves talking to you about the battle of Hubbardton 😃. The museum was great! Theres a large narrated diorama inside with lights indicating troop movements and where the actual fighting occurred and troop movements. As the narration of the battle progressed, the lights changed position to indicate changing troop positions .Very cool 👌. The stone wall at the crest of the hill behind the museum is the EXACT stone wall the troops sat behind as they picked off British Red Coats....AMAZING! You can almost see the Patriots sitting behind the wall with...

He gave my Dad and I a very thorough breakdown on the battle and how it happened. Site itself is unspoiled and in much the condition it was when battle was fought. For a history buff, or someone who wants to learn about the Revolution, this is a must see. The Vermont scenery and location are an added bonus. If you see it in tandem with Fort Ticonderoga and Saratoga it makes for a very...

Its the only revolutionary battle that took place in Vermont and it played an important roll in delaying the British movement to Bennington. So its worth the time to stop by and learn about a bit of...
