Danforth Falls — Attraction in Hudson

We went today April 21st 2023 and we loved it! Plenty of water in the falls...it was an easy 10 or 15 minute walk from the parking pull off to get to the falls and the path was dry but there was plenty of water in the falls. We sat and hung out by the falls and saw two ducks one of whom was very friendly and two snakes and a frog.. to get to the falls we walked on the path that went alongside the brook. There is also a wider path that looks like it was muddy in some parts leading to the falls and it also got a little muddy just after the Falls but again the path that goes alongside the brook was nice and dry. It seems the time of year that you visit determines whether these are "falls" or not? When we visited on August 9th, 2020, there were no "falls" to speak of. A river. A pond, which was very pretty. But no falls. Maybe post Winter, after snowfall, and snowmelt? The forest was...
