You can drive here from downtown in a couple of minutes, but if you like walking like me you can leave your car at the public parking lot at first and Main in the City center and take a nice long walk through the historical downtown, the schools 🏫 Area , some further quiet residential streets plus a forest hike trail, and then you are here!
There is a playground or rather playgrounds. You can fish Have your meeting or meal at the pavilion, You cannot swim in the lake, but you can Kayak Walk around the lake on the path, Play on the volleyball field, Play bocce, Play those corn holes that are built there for you, There’s of course restroom also driveway to the boat launching deck.
And on the top of all beyond all of that, you can play disc golf for altogether 18 holes 🕳.
The only thing that bothers me there is the noise from interstate 80. But hey 👋 it means that you can have all this fun just within a mile from from Interstate 80 (I-80) the one and only east–west transcontinental freeway in the United States that runs from downtown San Francisco, California, to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
