My 16 year old son and I stayed here last weekend just for the night and it was SO amazing! I happened to stumble upon it while searching for places to stay near Devil’s Tower and I’m so glad I did. It is a bit out there off a dirt/gravel road but nothing terrible. It took us about 20 ish minutes from the Devil’s Tower entrance only because it is off the main highway but the drive back to the ranch was beautiful as we passed other ranches and it was dusk so there were so many deer and elk in the fields eating. The actual cabin was super clean and cool and it was located right on a ranch. The downstairs was a common area where there was a pool table and a foosball table (as I remember) and there was also a lounge area next to a bar and on the other side were tables where they served breakfast. It was a very rustic feel and the rooms were upstairs in a loft style (maybe only 6-8 which is nice if you want to keep the crowds of people limited). Private bathroom and the room was very clean. We got to feed baby sheep and explore the grounds. There were a couple of friendly farm dogs and cats and a horse and some bull cows. It was so quiet and peaceful there. Zack was SUCH a big help...because the owners were currently stuck in Italy due to Covid restrictions Zack held down fort and did an amazing job taking care of the ranch as well as the guests needs. He had breakfast ready in the morning and we were lucky enough to just be there with one other small family. There is usually more activities to partake in such as horseback riding and canoeing/paddle boarding since it sits right on a small lake but with the lack of help it made it a little more difficult but we still had fun putzing around the ranch. I believe dinner is also available if needed but we had already eaten at a small restaurant outside Devil’s Tower. Needless to say, we only stayed overnight and although it was just a bit of a drive to get there off the main road we thoroughly...

This is a superb authentic ranch sitting on over 8,000 acres of land! I came to this ranch solo for a week and I was welcomed in with open arms. Robbie (one of the owners), Hieke and Zack were very welcoming. Hieke is a very skilled cowgirl and taught me to rope and Zack has a wealth of knowledge and showed how to hunt for arrowheads. The rooms were clean, bottled water was available and the horses were happy and well looked after!

My days started with a buffet breakfast and feeding the lambs. Then we went onto the horses and experienced herding up sheep, cows, horses and bulls which would take around 3-4 hours! I loved that everyday was action packed and there was a new activity that warranted our attention! In the late afternoon I had the option to ride more or relax.. In the evening Robbie, who is an incredible Chef in addition to host, made homemade restaurant quality dinners which were to die for!! I feel blessed to have such a great experience and would recommend it for anyone who wants to try out the cowboy way... but with their own...

The bed and breakfast ranch is ran by some super friendly Italian Americans. The place harkens back to a simpler time and would not be out of place in the late 1800's with one exception- WiFi. There are no TVs here; which, is kind of the point. With the horses all around the ranch, the gorgeous buttes for a view, and Devils Tower National Monument less than a 20 minute drive filled with some of the best views Wyoming has to offer there is no need for TV.

The guys definitely know how to cook. Breakfast was just about anything you could want and all of it hot and fresh. The coffee they keep fresh and hot in the morning is an amazing way to start your day- sitting on the full front porch and enjoying a great cup of joe while taking in the morning view of the lake and mile high buttes.

The peace and disconnected tranquility of the ranch was well worth the 1100 mile trip. We...

Good morning from the Lake Ranch #ranchlife #wyoming #lakeranch #horses you can see Devil’s Tower in the back! Many don’t know but it is the 1st US national monument!! And also a special place to many cultures around the world especially to the Lakota people. The real name is Mayo Tipila “Bear’s Lodge”
