Humboldt Lake — Attraction in Humboldt

This looks like a great fishing lake, but that is all it is. Was very disappointed we loaded up our kayaks and went out here for the day. We were hoping to get out of the house, do some paddling, and see some wildlife. None of that is possible here, you can only use the lake if you are fishing, have a fishing license AND have a permit to use the lake. It's OK for a fishing lake. There are good fish in the lake, but they drained it about a year ago and it lost about a quarter of it's mass.
