My daughter is getting married in Cincinnati, Ohio and my niece, who lives in Tennessee, is in the wedding. We called My Best Friend Jenna Bridal and asked if my niece could try on dresses and get measured in their shop. They said yes just make an appointment. This morning my niece went to try on dresses and was told that she couldn't try them on or get measured unless she purchased the dress from My Best Friend Jenna Bridal. I talked to the owner on the phone and explained that I had previously been told that she could try on dresses and get measured there, and that the dress had to be ordered in Cincinnati with the other bridesmaid dresses so that it was from the same dye lot. After much discussion and pleading, the owner finally relented and said she would allow her to try on the dresses but that they couldn't measure her due to liability reasons. And that she would have to go to JoAnn Fabrics to get measured. My niece tried on four dresses. Before she left the shop they told her that because she was so sweet they would measure her. My niece called me with the measurements and style number. After talking to the owner of the bridal shop in Cincinnati, Ohio, we realized that something about her measurements didn't make sense. We called my niece and found out that My Best Friend Jenna Bridal took my niece's measurements over the top of her sweatshirt and sweatpants! Either this shop doesn't know how to take dress measurements or they deliberately were trying to mess up the dress order! Clearly the owner of My Best Friend Jenna Bridal & Formalwear isn't interested in good customer service and the possibility of getting future sales from my niece. They are only interested in a sale now and if you aren't buying from them now then you aren't worth their time!! The bridal shop in Cincinnati said that they do fittings and measurements for out of town weddings all of the time and that what we were asking of My Best Friend Jenna Bridal is very common in the industry. What should have been an exciting, fun experience for my 13 year old niece turned into her feeling like a burden. In my niece's own words, "I think you sent me to the wrong shop Aunt Lisa!" I would not recommend this...
Read moreDaughter was shown maybe 5 dresses in the price range we had given the lady (owner maybe) that helped us and my daughter only really liked the second dress tried on. The dress had a veil she called âthe queenâ veil . Well once my daughter tried the second dress on again there was a different veil put on her then and when I asked about the first one she said , oh you would like that one ! It is the queen and never offered to bring back or price to us. Obviously her thoughts is that we could not afford that one. After not finding the dress I asked what if I went above my budget to look at some other dresses and she told me they were 1500 and better and never offered to show another dress but looked at a co worker and asked when her next appointment would be there and looked at her watch. I have never experienced any one look down their nose at me and all because I was on a budget but willing to go above budget but still no help. She did follow us out the door to show us a dress hanging on their rack and said see this one is $2500. No thank you and wonât shop there for any dress in...
Read moreThis is by far the most unprofessional bridal shop that I have been to in my 55 years !! They did not have a mother of the bride dress in my size and color at the shop so they proceeded to sell me one that they pulled up on their computer so that they wouldnât lose the sale. However when the dress came in it was the rose color that we wanted but the sequins were bright purple which made the dress hideous!! When I told them that I did not want the dress I was told that there were no refunds. After much debate they did order me another dress but did not tell me they were charging me another $100 on top of the $300 I already spent. I would not recommend this place to my...
