Fido's Forest Dog Park: Appointment and Registration Required — Attraction in Huntertown

In the area for work and my dog Rosie was bored and begging for some fun! She's an extremely fast runner and this was the perfect place for her to play, her way, at lightning speed. She has a little issue with fear related reactivity so traditional dog parks don't work well for her. Even when we catch them empty, she gets bored quickly in the small spaces. So happy to have found a place that makes room for the pups who have loads of energy, but need a special place all to themselves. The park itself is very well maintained with many thoughtful touches. Findley loved running around off leash with his nose to the ground. 5 acres seems like a lot but it's really not. Not bring able to pull in early seems like it's cutting onto your 1 hour time slot but we actually left about 10 min early so 1 hour was perfect for us. We found the balls and ball gun when leaving, Findley would have loved that so we'll look for it next time. Fido's Forest is a Godsend. We're not generally fans of dog parks. It is so nice to have a private place (that really is reasonably priced) for the girls to run, explore, and get some exercise off-leash. Jazzy LOVES to sniff and dig, and this is just perfect for that. And Peaches (10yo) struggles with anxiety but is IN. HER. ELEMENT. in natural environments, so she runs, jumps over logs, and chases her sister like I've never seen. I haven't seen her run and enjoy herself like this in years.
