I have heard very good things about this winery and also about the wine so my husband and I decided to take the 45 min. ride to check it out. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of assuming the winery was dog friendly both inside (just to taste) and outside. We have been to multiple wineries all over Pa. NY. and other states and it is not uncommon at all to see people with dogs (especially if they are on a leash) both inside and outside a winery. We thought nothing of it since I read some reviews that read “dog friendly.” Also, I assumed based on the name, dog labels on the wines, and these 2 pictures on their Facebook page of a dog inside the winery. My bad for assuming! We all know what they say about that, lol. I COMPLETELY understand and respect if dogs are not allowed inside the winery, but I just wished it was clarified a little better. Maybe a sign on the door or even a blurb on their website. I only say this because the reaction we received when we opened the door with our little 11lb pooch was as if we were walking in with a pack of wolves. It was so embarassing, unwelcoming, and just not a good first impression. I couldn’t tell you what the inside looked like and did not want to go in after that. I even chose to hold my bladder for the 45 min ride home! Being our first time there we had no clue. My husband went in and got the scoop on the wine list and how we can buy (by the glass, bottle, or if they offered flights) while I stayed outside. I can say we both picked 2 different wines to try by the glass and both did like what we picked so that was a bonus! Also the pizza was really good too! My purpose for this rant is please don’t make this same mistake because you will be very...

Absolutely 10/10 experience. Only regret is I hadn’t visited earlier. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there ended up being a group of 6 of us. Lots of outdoor seating, indoor seating was occupied, but we didn’t arrive until 3pm, so totally fine! It gets pleasantly busy but not insane (in the fall at least). Staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. Wine is truly great! So nice to have a great dry and semi selection (they have sweets too) at a PA winery. The Cablicious is excellent, Seyvan Blanc and Lone Pine White were awesome too! Really well crafted stuff. Love that they use real glasses, not plastic, and tastings are $5 for 5 samples (not big pours but it’s a tasting! Allowed us to taste just enough to know what we wanted to buy bottle wise) The setting inside and outside is cozy, warm, charming and dreamy. Came in a group with relatives, have a professional chef/baker in the family, and he remarked how great the wood fired oven pizza was. Couldn’t agree more. Shane is killing it out there with his pizza creations!! Cannot wait to return...

Surprisingly good! If your despondent over the lack of good dry wines in the NEPA area, look no further. So many PA wineries can't do dry wines, something to do with the short growing season or the grapes or both. This one is the best I've found so far. Their Cabernet Sauvignon is the closest to a California red I've found in the northeast. Their Cabernet Franc also very good (reminds of a lighter red like a Pinot Noir). Chardonnay and Dry Riesling are also excellent with none of the sweetness so prevalent locally. All served up with a beautiful setting and frequent food trucks. Well worth the short jaunt off the...

Nice wine selection. We started with a wine tasting and then purchased 2 bottles. We enjoyed one bottle (Just Chillin Red) on their patio. Just Chillin Red is a slightly sweet red wine that was perfect on an Autumn day while relaxing on their patio. We also purchased a Cranberry wine that we will enjoy over the Thanksgiving holiday, perfect with our turkey dinner. I find it interesting that the vineyard is not located onsite. The vineyard store is actually surrounded by corn fields. We are looking forward to returning again to enjoy the wine and scenery.
