Spent Labor Day here and was lucky enough to get the very last electric RV campsite! That said, my spot (#8) was very sloped so I had to do some creative leveling. $15 per night for electric (110V and 30amp) with a fire ring and two picnic tables. Very quiet after hours. There is water to fill your tank. Not a lot to do in the CG other than two nice playgrounds, but the lake is awesome. Bring your own boat, canoe, or kayak...no rentals here...but no launch fees either. Dump station at the boat launch site about a mile or so from the CG itself. Clean pit toilets, but I didn't see any showers although some web sites say there is. Going again this weekend.

This camp ground is a walk-up only facility, which is good. What is bad, the locals park their autos and unoccupied RVs on the camp site so they will have place to party on the weekend. This obviously limits us during the week for campers looking for campsites. There also is a lot of trash on camp ground and along road leading in to the site. We picked up two bags full and gave up. Party ends when the beer can and solo cup hit the ground. Come on Indiana, put some employees in there and straighten the place.

Man! You can't get it any better than here! Arrive early and get the primo spots. This is lot 31 & 32 in the primitive sites. If you are looking for peace and quite and way to wind down after the hectic week... Look no further. $12 a night and a beautiful lake to swim in our go boating. Firewood bundles can be purchased at the BP on 5 and 224.

Love it going there today been going there since they had workers at check in... only problem now is got a problem with paying and putting our tent on our site until we get our camper there a few times and once we got there someone disrespectfully moved our tent and took our spot and had to listen to kids crying all the way back home to a different town... people that camp here sometimes can be so disrespectful when it comes to taking campsites thats already paid for had ours taken 3 times.... but other then that when its honest people camping its a peaceful place sometimes .back in the day when people where actually on site running it they were the best and great rangers very friendly with swimming and all.. wish it would go back to the old way of running it so peoples sites...
