Evolve Chiropractic of Huntley — Attraction in Huntley

Over a year ago I found Evolve Chiropractic. One day, at the end of my rope with pain in my lower back I drove to Evolve Chiropractic. I struggled to walk from my car, across the parking lot, to the clinic. When I got to the door, one of the staff seeing me struggling came and opened the door for me. Big smile on her concerned face and an arm to help me. I immediately was made to feel comfortable and I instantly felt that I just may be in the right place.

Dr. Felde, co-founder of Evolve Chiropractic, came up front and led me to the examination area, spent a long time adjusting me, then took an x-ray. After the adjustment I felt much better. I could walk easier. He invited me to sit down with him and look at my x-ray. Dr. Felde explained what was going on. I learned I have severe Scoliosis. I realized that I was now a statistic that says millions of Americans, because of the way they live, will become plagued by this irreversible condition. A lifetime of poor every day health habits coupled with 25 years sitting in bad chairs at work then coming home and sitting in the Laz-Z-Boy, finally unsuspectingly caught up with me. I asked myself: How is this doctor going to help me? After all, I had already been to Pain Management therapy doctors, received several steroid injections, been given ridiculous amounts of opioid painkillers…..What could Dr. Felde do? Well, there simply is not enough space in this review for me to recap everything that Dr. Felde (and his staff) have done for me and continue to do so.

Along with weekly adjustments, Dr.Felde introduced me to the “Scoli Roll”. It’s a hard rubber block that you lay on your side using that side of the spine that juts outward. Laying on the Scoli Roll over time will help straighten the Scoliosis spine just a bit. But for me it has been enough to dramatically diminish the constant pain.

So, that’s my story. I have severe Scoliosis and the above is a bit of how I went about dealing with it. You may have neck pain, shoulder pain or upper back pain. No matter where your pain is, there is a way through Chiropractic (especially Evolve Chiropractic) to treat it and get rid of it entirely or, as in my case, learn to manage it.

Evolve Chiropractic has……..evolved! Because of their success rate helping people in pain, they have more locations: Huntley, Palatine, St. Charles, Schaumburg (just opened). Dr. Felde and Dr. Scott (Dr. Felde’s partner / co-founder, another incredible doctor) because of their growth need to focus their attentions a bit more on the other satellite clinics. However, enter Huntley replacements: Dr. Andy and Dr. Brad. Both are like of Dr. Felde and Dr. Scott. Both are focused on your pain, both will adjust you fully. Both will listen to you. Both are caring and giving doctors.

When Dr. Andy adjusts me he often remarks, hey, we’re here for you. But, he really means that. He’s helped me immensely. I feel grateful towards him.

Dr. Andy & Dr. Brad have in so many words told me that they enjoy their profession. If you enjoy your profession most likely you will enjoy coming to work. If you enjoy coming to work you will do a good job. If you do a good job, you will have patients whose pain will likely be diminished.

All the people that work at Evolve Chiropractic are very positive individuals. This includes the masseuses and the women that take care of the front desk and aid the doctors getting patients set up on the various tools and equipment at the clinic. All are focused, friendly people. All project a strong feeling of positivity in the room. It is always comfortable to just be there.

They have inspired me to swim every morning at the YMCA in Sycamore. In addition I placed myself on a diet and have lost so far, 22 ½ pounds with another 18 ½ to go. Severe Scoliosis? I originally went in from an unrelated issue then what I am currently going for now. Originally I had some neck issues but while sitting in the consultation, nervous because I have never been to a chiropractor before, I was reading a poster where it had a diagram of the spine and possible causes of different types of pain. I noticed headaches being on that diagram. I have had a head ache for the past 7 years almost daily. 7 years. I have gone to multiple neurologists, ended up in the ER a couple times due to consistent head aches as well. No relief for me though. The lady who helped me with checkin for the well being check explained that it was all connected and it was possible that chiropractic care could help me. I first met with doctor Bianca shortly after that and she took the time to explain everything to me. What chiropractic care could do, what the x-rays show, and a course plan of action of how to get better. From there I got set up with a worker that showed me what we should be doing on a daily visit. There are a bunch of different stretches, adjustments, then traction. Honestly I was very nervous the first time being adjusted but she made it very easy. I have now gone there for 3 times a week for the past month and have been head ache free since my second adjustment. THIS WAS AFTER HAVING DAILY HEADACHES FOR 7 YEARS! I’ve gotten the chance to get adjusted by all the doctors now, Dr. Erica, Dr. Brad, Dr. William, and Dr. Bianca truly have a care for all their patients as well as all staff too. From the front desk, they know me by name, I’m sorry I don’t know everyone, but they all do a fantastic job. I am very thankful for everyone at Evolve Chiropractic of Huntley. Again, I went in for a unrelated issue and they were able to treat my head aches with no pain pills because guess what, the pills didn’t work. It was due to built up tension in my neck/back. I absolutely love Evolve Chiropractic! I made the change in chiropractors a couple of years ago and so happy I did. I suffer from migraines and lower back issues. I threw my back out every few months and migraines would come a few times a month. Since I have been coming to this chiropractor, I have gotten so much better. They actually are fixing the underlining issues. A couple months ago I came in with the worst migraine I have had in 2 years. As soon as I walked in, it got worse because of the lights and sounds. The staff saw how much pain I was in and the receptionist jumped up to find a quiet place for me until Dr. Bianca was available. My husband went ahead of me to get adjusted and filled her in on what was happening. The receptionist was seconds behind him to also tell her. After his adjustment, Dr. Bianca ran to find a place that was dark and quiet. I was then brought to the massage area to get my adjustment. The staff was running around to help me. Dr. Bianca spent time with me to try to relieve the migraine. She let the massage therapists know she was caring for a person with a migraine so they knew I needed quiet and dark. A massage therapist was done for the day and she came in and asked how she could help. She then proceeded to massage my neck where the migraine started. Matt came in to give me cold laser therapy. Dr. Bianca came in again to adjust me. I have always loved this chiropractic office but this was something. The way the entire staff jumped up to help even though they were done for the day and they could have went home, they stayed to help me. The staff was even shutting lights off when I walked out just to make sure I was comfortable. The way this staff cares about you is so refreshing.
