This War Eagle moved back to SHA the summer of 2019 after a 48-year absence. The LGS has been a bright spot in an oft-cloudy time. Because I am only 13.5 minutes away, it’s easily accessible; when I walk in, it’s a wonderment of beauty, including its staff. From stocking stuffers to fine gifts, this place has stolen my heart along with my Visa card. The range of my purchases reflects the scope of the store’s offerings—whimsical socks, coasters, and jewelry, handmade artistic quilts, wine, art by talented Alabama artists, and the must-see Spiritiles.
