Horrible Customer Service. Rude Workers. No Communication.
I recently saw their Facebook post about selling some of their mature blueberry bushes for $100. Pickup would be today (September 13th) between 9am-12noon. We would pay a $20 deposit at time of order and pay the rest UPON PICKUP. On Friday (the day before pickup), we received a text message saying â we have been trying to get ahold of you, the only available time for pickup is Sunday September 14th between 3-4pm. The rest of your balance is due NOW.â . We had not received prior emails, texts, or calls before this. So we messaged back saying woah wait a minute pickup was supposed to be Saturday? and they said oh well due to us not being able to have staff on hand on Saturday, we changed it to Sunday. where was our notification of this? no text or calls before but will text us the day before the original pickup date giving us only 1 option for pickup. well we work on Sundays, so it wasnât going to work for us especially since we ordered this 2 weeks ago and made specific plans for pickup on Saturday. When we expressed this, all we received back was âyour order has been canceledâ. well the card we used for the deposit was hacked and so they canât refund that card but they wonât call us to get our new card information to process the refund. I also commented on their Facebook post before we got a message back after receiving the initial text of pickup times have changed and simply said âI ordered weeks ago and pickup was set for the 13th. You have changed pickup times and havenât notified customers that have already placed a deposit?â and then I was blocked through Facebook. so childish behavior, rude workers, horrible communication, and obviously no organizational skills within...

My brother was blocked anyway because the business looked for his name online and clearly had a vendetta-filled ax to grind. Further, the business used a laugh emoji and responded with rude and trite comments to downplay and gaslight me. Whoever runs this business is a narcissistic, cyber-bullying Internet troll who does not know the importance of maintaining customer rapport. They clearly do not understand the importance of listening and only believe in silencing anyone who approaches them with a legitimate concern and a polite suggestion.
(End of story)
Last year was such an amazing experience and this year there were almost no berries to pick. After expressing my concern on their Facebook page, they were rude and this was my response: â Blueville Acres Blueberry Farm saying âgood for youâ and âwe are happy you found somewhere else to spend your moneyâ and then using a laughing emoji on my comment is so rude.
The proper way to talk to a customer wouldâve been: âIâm sorry for your experience. How can we make it better for you next time?â
Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Just remember, we and many others over the years are the ones who made yâall popular. Take note. đâ
Following my concern and suggestion in a previous post, they blocked me from Facebook and refused to address any of them. Instead, they resorted to mocking and removing me entirely from their page. DO NOT GO HERE!
They will trivialize and patronize you as a...
Read morePicking blueberries at this beautiful, no spray, friendly family farm will be our families new summer tradition. There was something so magical about having my children pick their own food and actually recognize that it doesn't just show up at Kroger. I wanted them to recognize that people work hard to allow us access to certain things and we should never take it for granted. This was a wonderful way to make the connection for them about working hard for what you want. So for us, we got a lot more out of this experience than just super delicious blueberries, it was a learning experience too. Thank you Sandy Acres. See...
