We wholeheartedly enjoyed our visit to this charming, family-owned winery.
The laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere made it easy to relax. As a family of color, we felt welcomed and safe here, which meant a lot.
The owner was incredibly kind, and I really enjoyed learning about the history of the winery. He even started the model train for my kids, which they loved! They were also fascinated by the chickens and never got bored—which made the visit even more enjoyable for me.
The white wines were all superb. I paid $2 per wine for the tasting and ended up buying two bottles to take home. They also thoughtfully offered complimentary water, soda, and snacks for the kids.

   Read moreNew stop this weekend . . . . Mulberry Creek Herb Farm and Mulberry Creek Winery. Staff was delightful, very knowledgeable about current wines as well as future releases. Hubs enjoyed both the Gewurztraminer and Muscat Blanc while I had the Old Vine Zinfandel. Pretty fun sipping a glass of wine in a greenhouse, the aromas of the many herbs and the soil complimented the wine. In addition they have a good sized collection of bonsai.
