Great dog park the family and your four legged friends are sure to enjoy! To our surprise, it was not super crowded when we went on a beautiful fall Sunday afternoon! The park itself has about 4 trees that don't provide much shade due to being young trees. To compensate, the park has 2 large canopies with picnic tables. The park has typical dog playground equipment. The park also has a really cool splash pad for dogs with addional picnic tables on a concrete platform with pergola partial shade. Would be a great place for a picnic on a cooler day. The real bonus of this park is the adjacent access to nearby Brushy Creek!!! There are steps built into the embankment to allow for direct access to the creek. When we went, the water was about 1/2 foot to a full foot at the deepest. The water is clean, flowing and safe to wade in with your dog. Just be mindful of typical creek water dangers like snakes, slippery areas and rocks. We had a great time!!! If I had one complaint, it would be that pet waste bags were hard to find. They didn't stock the dispensers, but we managed to find one and so be prepared and bring your own bags just in case. Our overall experience warranted 5 stars despite them being out of stock on bags. I highly recommend this place! As a side note, they require a membership and parking permit, but a park goer said it is free. Despite this, nobody was really policing this probably because it was a Sunday. Dog lovers, I highly recommend this dog...
Read moreIt’s a nice dog park but we had a very bad first experience, there was two big dogs in the small dog area that we tried to go in and someone stopped us and said that they put their dogs in there because they are aggressive, so we went to the big dog side with one other dog who was apparently also very aggressive. The owners put him on the leash as we came in and naturally my dog approached him and they had a little issue.. I really liked the dog park itself but I don’t agree with ppl bringing their aggressive dogs. It’s one thing if ur there alone at the park with ur aggressive dog but I feel that u should leave if ur dog can’t get along with others. We left shortly after arriving. Also I never noticed any water bowels...
Read moreIt's close to our house, has two long fenced areas, one for large & the other for smaller dogs. They recently installed two water fountains in each area that has a human & dog fountain each. They have a covered area and agility things in each area too and access to a creek outside the long yards. The only thing that I would love to see is a dog washing station in each area so we can rinse, or wash, our dogs after they play. At the Cedar Park Bark Park they have the perfect model for this plus in the large dog area they have a pond with launch deck so pups can jump...
