This festival was over an hour drive for us and well worth it! There’s no option for me to upload pics but I’ll try to explain it well. Plenty of food trucks, close parking $5 and other parking that’s free. Lots of vendors with incredible handcrafted various items. Free horse wagon rides (I recommend tipping). We picked and made our own fresh lavender bundles. We bought lavender body butter, lavender chapstick, a lavender satchel, two dried flower resin necklaces all very reasonably priced for homemade goods. There was live music that was beautiful and incredible backdrops for gorgeous and memorable pictures. On a side note there were porta potties that were very clean and included a handle washing station. We also got some baked goods to take home, lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream! This was a 10/10 experience for us and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time, my family truly loved...
Read moreThis is a rare experience and a local treasure. The lavender is only in bloom for a short time. It's so fun that the grower puts on this cool festival for free. They put in a ton of work lining up local vendors, food trucks and performers. They also added a bunch of shade canopies and misters to help everyone stay cool. There is plenty of free parking. The paid parking is only $5 and all proceeds go to improving the road leading to the festival. If you park at the park or on the road you can access the short cut to the festival at the back of the park by the playset over the foot bridge. You can also visit the farm other times of the year for their u pick apples and fresh squeezed apple cider. It's definitely worth...
Read moreSurprisingly fun little event. Well organized, free entry and free horse wagon rides. Option to pay to park close (free if you have disabled tags) or park at a nearby city park and walk in. The nicest porta potty setup I have ever encountered (who knew that could even be a thing!)
Several artisan vendor booths that wrapped around a beautiful patch of lavender where you both harvest your own lavender or take photos (beware of bees!). Not such a big event as to be overwhelming. Lots of lavender based products to buy. The lavender lemonade was very tart and refreshing on a hot day. We will definitely put it on our...
