This venue was perfect for my February baby shower. We were able to comfortably host our 60 guests at a reasonable price. Everyone was very impressed with the venue when they arrived asking how I found this place. The owner was very easy to communicate with via email or text. I was grateful they let us set up the night before since I had a tea party theme and had so many teacups to set out. They did such a wonderful job renovating the space we didn’t even need to bring in many decorations, the place itself had so much charm. My only small complaint would be that due to the ice storm that happened earlier in the week the ramp was coated in a thick layer of ice. I believe due to water dripping from the gutters caused it to be even worse. My husband made an effort to try and clear it with ice melt but no luck. I did have one guest slip but they are doing okay. I know the weather is out of their control I was just looking forward to the safety of the ramp and we didn’t really have the time to invest in clearing it. Some extra things to note. Bring your own water due to the churches age I believe it is well water. Also, if you have to use crockpots you may need an extension cord depending on where you set up. We had four and just made sure we brought the extension cord the next morning. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful space for hosting!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and the owners. I have been kicking myself since we started to pack up for not taking more pictures in general, but the space overall from my daughters first birthday. The place is down right gorgeous, they owners have really put all their heart into this place and you can tell. They are also incredibly helpful and communicative about the whole process and made everything easier than I could have imagined. Literally the only bad review I see on here is in regards to capacity and that responsibility falls on your point of invitation. No where do I see where they list they can hold more than this place is capable of and when planning your own event you have to take into consideration your own guests and needs as well. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you should. I hope this place is around for a long long time and my daughter can have her 16th birthday where she had her first.

We were married here recently and we had a beautiful ceremony. It was an after 5pm ceremony. The church is very cozy, intimate and romantic. We loved being able to ring the old bell by pulling the rope. We were also able to use some of their decor which made it so easy for us to incorporate that with our own wedding decorations. We used the upstairs for our ceremony, reception and dancing. The downstairs area was great for our cocktail hour. Emily and her team are great to work with! The run down of our timeline was thorough when we sat down with Emily to go over all that Water to Wine would handle on their end. It was easy and very special to us. Follow them on Facebook for more detailed information and photos. Thank you Emily and Sue for all you did! We appreciate you very much! Christian & Derek Dodds 🤍

While quaint, beautiful, and charming, this venue is absolutely not fit for hosting 200 people as stated on their website. Our event hosts were wonderful and gracious, but I can't help but feel terrible seeing how uncomfortable people were here.

We attended a wedding here with roughly 150 people, and it was incredibly tight, hot, and uncomfortable. The chairs and tables set up for dinner were jam-packed so tight, that no one was seated comfortably, sitting with the tables pressing into our stomaches as we ate. For one person to stand up and leave the row, the entire row had to stand up and step out of the row to make room. There was also no room to move around between tables, and because of this, it took almost an entire hour just to get all the attendees through the buffet. Even after getting food, the lack of space meant nobody could get a water refill (which could've been avoided had they been filled before guests were seated), or get up to use the bathroom. Speaking of which, there were only 3 working toilets in the entire venue, one of which had a door that didn't lock, and apparently had flooded earlier in the day. I would strongly recommend ownership take a look at their liability if there was an emergency in the room with so many people and so little ability to move.

In addition to being much too small for 200 people, the area set up for the dance floor is clearly not fit to have even 50 people dancing. With roughly 30 dancers, the floor visibly bowed up and down to a dangerous level.

It also appears there is no air conditioning at this venue, the heat inside the building was incredibly uncomfortable, even when it was only 75 degrees outside. There were only 2 ceiling fans in the main area. What's worse, was the lack of water. There was no water brought up to the main area until very late in the evening, you had to walk downstairs to get more, and no additional cups were provided for anyone to get the water that was provided.

Parking was also an issue, it was necessary to have everyone double or even triple park to fit everyone in, there is absolutely not enough space for a 200-person event to park at this facility.

Overall, the event space is beautiful and gorgeously decorated, but is clearly only fit for smaller events of less than 100 people. I would highly recommend the ownership of this venue revise their recommendations for...

I absolutely would not recommend anyone to book any event here. The venue itself is nice, but the owners are so dishonest it’s not worth it at all. They contacted my fiancée three days before our wedding to let us know that our wedding would not be able to be held at their venue. What they told us was the township was making them wait to hold events there until all of their zoning changes were finalized. I called the township the next day and spoke to the township supervisor who explained to me that the venue has many permits that aren’t approved, such as the fire safety code not being met, the parking space not being adequate, and others. He told me that the owners have been holding events there since October, but haven’t had proper approval the whole time. He said that the township contacted the owners of the venue in December, and that they were told not to hold any events there until the proper permits and safety codes were addressed. The neighborhood near the venue has complained multiple times because of the noise and parking, the parking lot at the venue is not big enough for as many people as they say, and people were parking in the neighbors yards. My fiancée and I paid our deposit for the venue in February, at which time the owners absolutely should have told us that they were not able to hold events, but they mentioned nothing of it. The township later sent them a cease and desist when they found out that they were still holding events, after telling them to stop in December, and I believe that is the point that the owners contacted us and told us that they can’t host our event. So basically all of the other notices that they were sent, they didn’t care about, only when the cease and desist was sent out and they were caught did they actually care. If the owners were honest from the start and upfront with my fiancée and I about the permits and everything we would not have booked, but they didn’t tell us a single thing, and we got screwed over. The owners are operating illegally and if they truly cared about their business and customers they would address the safety issues, but it seems they only care about their...
