Well, it used to be a great place to go! Great place for your pooch to make some new friends and burn their energy they have so much of. Their also is a nice little field for little dogs that's cute and allows little friends to gather without a big dog to be bugging them! Snake River Animal Shelter is also nice enough to supply poopy bags for those fun little surprises can and please should be picked up! However, people feel entitled and find their way in to locked areas purposely done to allow for one field to heal before spring comes, all so their also special dog (no offense to the dog) tend to do damage as seen in my photos. That same area with the broken gate has a broken Rear gate too, so caution if your dog goes in the middle. Someone also has broken the back gate on the end big dog field and I have repaired it a few times with spare things I have found...

Actually I'm just trying to warn people. My wife and I had a bad experience with a man who had 3 dogs 3 dogs right outside of the park behind it by the river.

He asked if our dog was OK but didn't bother to tell us his wasn't. One of his 3 dogs all off leash, attack our dog and bit him in the neck puncturing it.

At the time all I could think was to get my dog away from his dog's none of which he even had leashes for.

My wife asked him his name and he refused to tell.

He was a very skinny man wearing a hat backwards. If you see him, be wary. He is not a responsible dog owner and he doesn't care about...

I have always loved this place and my dogs love it too. Most of the owners get along really well. Almost every dog that I've ever brought there gets along with all the dogs there. We always have a lot of fun. I really do like and appreciate that the city, owners and anyone or everyone else that helps keep the dog park cleaned up and makes sure that there's a garage can for messes and dog droppings, and that there's bags and whatever else there that is needed is there. So thank you everyone for keeping this awesome park great and let's keep doing it so the park stays around very very very...

We didn't know what to expect since Google didn't have photos or ratings for this park. We were pleasantly surprised. It's definitely one of the best dog parks we have come across on our road trip! There are three sections for dogs of different sizes. The grass is well-kept, there is covered seating area, and there was a water pump, hose, and pool for the pups! I heard the bathroom was also very clean. Outside of the three fenced in area is a grassy area with access to the river. So pups can also swim here. Our dog has a great time, he especially loved to sit in the mud pit šŸ˜…

Great dog park. Huge space to run and play ball. Usually lots of dogs. Unfortunately, the only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because people fail to read the posted rules board at the entrance. Most of these things are common courtesy, but I do think it’s very important to read. Not following the rules ruins the experience for others. Classic tragedy of the commons situation.

I can't complain about the dog park itself. It's a wide open field near the river. It's clean for the most part however I wish some pet owners would clean up better after their pets. Most people here have had friendly dogs that have been socialized with other dogs. I recommend coming when the weather is warm to avoid tracking in mud into your car.
