Peaceful quiet wagon ride (not enough snow for a sleigh) around a guys big flat backyard. I somehow thought it would be a ride up into some trees. The elk were fun to see, even though they were busy grazing on other piles of hay. The folks were nice, the horses were gorgeous, but I dont think Id do it again for the $300. (If it was a ride up into the trees Id do it again.) The lovely gal mentioned that tips were appreciated 4 times, but none of us had any cash. 😞 Who carries cash anymore? Felt bad. Take a little cash if you go, because they really rely on the tip afterwards. 4 stars because of the flat backyard ride.

Idaho Sleigh Rides is an experience not to miss. We've taken our family on the sleigh ride 3 times over the past 5 years. Each time has been a huge success! The customer service is top notch. They folks that run the show are super nice and personable. We have been fortunate to see and feed a large herd of elk each time. It's a magical experience I would highly recommend. Suitable for all ages.

The weather was great. There were @4;of us and we had a blast feeding the wild elk. I recommend it for those who have not done it, couples and groups. And then the chocolate chip cookies afterwards. Mmmmm

We took the kids and grandkids up for a sleigh ride two days before Christmas. The facilities are dated, but the staff is attentive and very helpful. I was a bit disappointed that our wagon ran over the snow on wheels rather than runners, but the fact was that there'd only been a few days cold enough to deliver snow, and I suspect that with more snow earlier, they would have switched to runners sooner.

The ride is in an open are, and stopping to feed the wild elk was definitely a highlight. The weather -- especially the wind -- was very cooperative for our ride, however, I can imagine that on an windy day the ride might be more brutal, especially for the little ones.

We brought our own blankets, and they supplied a couple of additional blankets as well.

This was a fun...

My husband, 2 year old daughter, and I had a great time. We received a sleigh ride and lunch for Christmas, and getting a ride schedules was very easy. The staff was so nice and professional, the driver was very knowledgable, and the horses were well behaved and so beautiful. The ride was through a field in the valley of Garden Valley, and probably lasted about 45 minutes. Although there wasn’t snow, the elk were there for us to feed, which my daughter loved. I am giving this 5 stars because it was perfect for my daughter. If it was just my husband and I, it may have been a tad dull, but it was great with the toddler in tow. The lunch was yummy as well, and the cobbler was delicious! We would...
