This is a well maintained and somewhat challenging mountain trail with great views along the way and at the "top"--which really isn't. 4-miles to trail's terminus from the parking lot. 500-foot per mile ascent on switchbacks with benches near bottom, at midpoint and at trail's end. Bring water as there is none on the trail. US Forest Service vaulted-style toilet in...
Read moreThis hike is no joke. Beautiful but challenging. The 3.5 miles to the top is very steep with a lot of rocks and roots on a well kept trail. Only saw a few folks on trail, which was nice. Ample parking and a public restroom are...
