Amazing park. Big, well groomed, new children's play equipment/jungle gym, small "water park" area including sprinkler and water spout/tree/umbrella. Clean and stocked bathrooms, picnic tables. Soccer fields⚾, skate Park with ramps, jumps, pipes for skate board tricks etc .. there is also a 2 sectioned🐩🐕 dog 🦴 park🦮🐕🦺. 1 side for shy dogs as the signage reads the other is a free for all. The dog Park also includes picnic tables, fresh water station for doggo and human, they also have a bakery on the table with hand sanitizer and poopy bags. But the best part by far is the fact that the freshwater station also has a doggo shower area it's a showerhead 🚿 on a hose so you can wash your furry friend if they get dirty or are already dirty! 😁 I definitely give this park two thumbs up👍👍&five stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, and would recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants a dog park or a water/children's/skate park or just anything outdoors! Will pray...
Read moreWe live up the street from this park, so were excited for it to be built. My great grandson, now 2, lives with us and we thought it would be great to go to before the kids get out of school. My daughter and her 2 year old and I with my 2 year old great grandson went to the park. There is very limited stuff for toddlers to do there and my great grandson has no fear. He tried to walk on one of the little bridges to the slide and being little, he slipped through the very wide gap. I was behind him and grabbed him as he was falling. Yelled for my daughter to help, because we were still several feet off the ground. She ran over and i dropped him into her arms. We finished playing there shortly after because the school kids got out of school and were a bit too rough around the little ones. We saw several parents leave with their younger ones when the kids got out of school. We won't go back to that park until the toddlers are several...
Read moreThis park is always extremely busy. The equipment is ok and the kiddos seem to have fun. The splash pad is great with just enough shade. Bike area seems OK. Have not used that or the dog area. However having only 1 covered shelter is not enough for the amount of people who come here. There is one with 5 picnic tables crammed under it. The tables and concrete are always filthy. There is one building that holds 4 bathrooms. These seem decently clean. The rubber padding around the equipment is torn up and has been all summer. This material is also scattered all over the concrete of the park. There is a spot on the splash pad that collects algae and is always slippery. The amount of clovers in the grass attract so many bees that kids are constantly getting stung. I expected better quality for this park. Especially since the SW side of Boise is lacking good quality public parks. Discovery Park is cleaner and offers more...
