Murtaugh Lake — Attraction in Idaho

Lots of place to park and there's a place for the kids to play and the tables are nice, fairly decent sized lake and the grass is kept well. They have a bathroom, the park is clean. Only complaint is they don't really have an area for the kids to swim, it's more just docks and boat launches and the trashcans are kind of out of the way of the tables which is good and bad because you have to walk 30yds to the trashcan Everytime you need to toss something (if you're barbequeing). Other than that it's a pretty place and a good experience....

Love this close weekend getaway! Great place to bbq for the day and swim! Kid friendly swim areas (no lifeguard).

The only complaint is that some people are disgusting and disrespectful to others! There are 4 bathroom buildings with 2 separate rooms and the fact that people are gross and mess them up blows my mind... It makes it difficult and uncomfortable for others to use them! Why/how do you just string tissue all over the bathroom and urinate in the corner instead of the toilet?

Be more respectful people and...

Camped here last night, super beautiful. Unfortunately there were jackass kids jumping in the lake at all hours of the night. I really wouldn’t have minded the kids having fun had they not been obnoxiously loud and setting off fireworks. There was also a couple trucks shining their brights directly into our tent while we were sleeping. It says that the campground closes at 8pm so I tried texting camp host but never got...
