Not grand, not bland. Small, sweet, and hidden away, this green little gem in the rough has a lot going for it. I did not do the camping area, but I did explore most of the grounds. As of July 2022, the bathrooms were quaint but well maintained. The pavilions are spread out, giving large groups the ease of not being in each other's hair. The lawns were well maintained and groomed for disc golf. Lots of sunny and shady spots to rest alike. The trees are mostly mature, providing children with climbing opportunities. What I like best was the river access for small boats. That part of Shelley is a gem and needs to remain simple. I saw the game wardens come through and they were super nice with an angler coming in. The playground has a nice location, surrounded by mature trees, making summer play wonderful for chillin' parents and it keeps the equipment cool for the kids (we all miss the 198° sun-roasted, scalding plastic slide of death, no?). Again, small park with a few smart perks, well-groomed and off the...

I reserved the west pavilion and was told if i cleaned up after myself i would get a cleaning deposit back. This isn't true. Whatever you do to clean up after yourself you will not get this deposit back. i had to contact them myself 2 weeks after my event to ask if i was going to get my deposit back. I was never notified whether or not i would. When i spoke to the park manager he told me i would not be getting my deposit back because a vehicle had been parked on the grass. He said that is not allowed and that is why i would not be getting my deposit back. i told him i was never made aware of this and he said it is posted everywhere and online. If you plan on having an event at this park read the fine disclaimer lines. And definitely don't expect to get any of your...

We have stayed at the North Bingham County Park several times the previous year and were very happy with our stay. But this last stay a week ago was not so good. Every morning the sprinklers were on and our rugs and mats were wet. Even between the RV spaces there was water an inch deep. The morning that we left (Tueday) which was early, we were wet from feet to knees with spraying water and puddles of water. Can't the watering at least between the RV's be done at 11PM or midnight instead of 5 AM or 6 AM in the morning? The trip to the rest room was rather challenging to avoid the water as well. Like I said, last year we stayed 7 or 8 nights and did not run into this problem. What...

We just happened to find this RV county park on RVparky app. The river parallels the park. It is located 10 miles south of Idaho Falls. The park is well maintained, green grass, 70' pull through sites with water, electric, and sewer dump station. Children's playground in the park. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained with a shower stall. The host is very nice and professional. We were going to stay two nights, but extended two more nights. The night sky is dark with so many beautiful stars.

This is a very beautiful and well maintained country park. We passed through here by chance and boy we’re glad we did! The field is luscious, no trash and well kept. There’s 12 pull through sites on gravel and it’s level. Spoke with a friendly maintenance guy and he mentioned the water is just turned on (4/30) and the electricity is available year round. This is a very peaceful park and we’ll definitely be back again!

Really enjoyed this place we stayed 4 days and had a great time. Frisbee golf, the river, a farm that you can walk to and look at things, there was a remote control plane field that had people doing their thing. I wish that we brought the kids bikes as everything is very spread out and I wish we had a canoe for the river. Next time! This place absolutely deserves a return visit.
