A friend and I stayed for 3 days at the pink house. Jim and Deb are awesome hosts and go to great lengths to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, i honestly cant say enough about this recreation site. The sites are very well maintained and grass is groomed and neat, the bathrooms are impeccable and smell great (i know its weird), they are clean from top to bottom, we were very impressed. Jim is very welcoming and willing to help with anything you need, he is always hard at work outside and is just a great guy to talk to. At night the property is roamed by the local sheriffs office, so you don't have to worry about your possessions while staying there, actually there has not been a theft there since JIm and Deb have been there for 3 years. The only things that i can say that could be done are placing seat covers in the bathrooms and BLM could do better with the maintenance of the boat launch, there is way too much sand down there to get stuck in. Other than that its an amazing place to stay. Also if you stopping for the fishing, they are located just west of dworshak fish hatchery.

DO NOT COME HERE before the campground host arises in the morning. If you occupy the "day use" area--BEFORE SHE WAKES UP--you will be greeted with her angrily charging up to your vehicle while snapping photos. When this user asked why she was photographing my vehicle, she stated, "You have been here two nights!" I HAD NOT OCCUPIED DAY USE OVER NIGHT! The hosts confidence is only outshined by her aggression. DO BETTER Clearwater County, Idaho!

This is a very clean, well maintained campground, just downriver from Orofino, ID. There are about a dozen RV sites and 3-4 tent sites with raised platforms. Be aware, it's not quiet, due to highway and boat traffic.

The host was very nice. The location is great - there is a Harvest Foods and services are very close. Campgeound we dead silebt at night which was amazing. Great access to the river and there is a back eddy so you can swim even if the river is flowing pretty good. Spots are very nice. Everything is paved except a tent pad, so dust isn't an issue, and there is good distance between sites. Everything is First Come Fist Serve. They do allow payments with a card if you use the Idaho recreation App. I would give it 5 stars, but the bathrooms nock it down a star. No toilet paper for almost 2 days and no soap - just purell. It would also be nice if they had showers, but I guess you can just use the river. Full hookups (electric, water and sewer) was $18 a night which is a very good price compared to other locations. Sites also come with a fire ring, table and...

Despicable; camp host must be a sad sad women. Completely awful first encounter. Extremely rude and shined a light right in my eyes and after I said ouch she said I know right then did it again and continued walking towards our camp spot completely disregarding me as a human being.

Unfortunately I bet this lot is empty because of the nasty rude host currently staffed. Because every spot in town is full.

I hope you replace her with someone who knows how to engage in a conversation not just interrogation and a accusatory mindset.

As a disabled veteran with PTSD these sites are supposed to be a treat and temporary home. But this experience is beyond words for the treatment received upon...
