It is so beautiful at this garden! We snuck in early in the morning when there was nobody else there. we have been to the interpretive center before and light all of the things that you could learn inside. But there's nothing better than wandering around all of the flowers early in the morning when nobody else is there smelling things and taking pictures and really enjoying it.so if you get there early in the morning and you see that the gate is closed just open up the gate make sure you close it behind yourself and wander around in...

A lovely garden to talk a stroll after being in the car for too long. We enjoyed the prayer wheel and giant asparagus and the bumblebees. We will be back! Thanks We’re back 6/29/19- it looks like they are fixing the raised beds so not much there but the garden is lovely. I wish I could see the night blooming citrus closer! We got attacked by the bees (they have an entrance off the greenhouse) all the way to the parking lot. My son was stung on the head. I am a beekeeper and have never experienced such aggressive bees...

Looks like it has potential. I like what they're trying to achieve there. Seems it has become a shrine to Buddha. So.......be advised.......the prayer wheel.....though impressive...........is a Buddha prayer wheel. Learned a bit about Buddhism. It’s beautiful with varied gardens. Some areas were naturalized and others were sculpted. They had small natural looking streams flowing through many areas. One garden was a peaceful serenity garden. They have a large colorful Buddhist prayer wheel in a pavillon decorated with prayer flags. It was free but they request a small $5 donation. The garden is only a couple short blocks off the Wood River Trail. They have bike racks.

The Sawtooth Botanical Garden has great youth and adult programming. It is also a beautiful place to host an event, or connect to your spirituality at the Garden of Infinite Compassion which hosts one of two prayer wheels in the United States that has been blessed by the Dalai Lama. It also features a large sandbox with plenty of toys for young children to play with. A great place to get connected back with dirt and nature.
