Absolutely beautiful here. There are concrete docks that you can lay on or sit right on the water. BUT, it is a little trashy. We picked up a full trash bag worth of stuff ranging from old hot dog buns and catsup to a package of acrylic nails, plus the assortment of drinks. The only place to swim with sand is right next to the dock. It seems the spots in front of the concrete docks have rocks and TRASH in the bottom, along with thick mud, which my daughter promptly lost her shoes in. Would we come back?...

If the campground had some shade I would definitely be giving this spot a 5. Beautiful 1.75 mile hike around the lake. We paid $15 per night for hookups so also inexpensive. What I really enjoyed about the hiking trails was mostly very level and well maintained but also had offshoot littler trails for those interested in a little more challenging hike. Plenty of spots along the way to sit and enjoy the view but also lots of secluded spots perfect for some solitary fishing. Many...

Spring Valley is a great place to fish or swim. It also has a wonderful loop that goes around the whole reservoir so if you're not in the mood to fish you can still enjoy the wonderful views and all the duck and geese the lake offers. Has lots of areas to camp in along with a dock and place to put your boats in the water. Fish caught here are trout, blue gill, and some bass. If you want a small place to go not to far from Moscow I recommend you give this...

Beautiful hike around the reservoir. Not too difficult. A tad bit muddy in some places of the western side of the reservoir but overall a tranquil place to visit. Great fishing and nice weather although slightly chilly. Beginning of May

We love coming here to fish or walk around the reservoir. It can be pretty full on nicer days but still plenty of room to find a nice spot to hang out. They keep it pretty well stocked, so we've never had any trouble catching dinner!
