We've been coming here for many years. We liked the old way they used to do things much much better. Still fun, but you can't get as many runs in and it's tougher to get little ones up to the top. So here is what changed, You used to sit down on the tube and it pulled you to the top. I feel like you didn't have to walk as far from the end of the run back to where they pulled you to the top. They were open much later, and the night time was fast because everything was very frozen. They had 1 hr tickets, perfect for kids who might not want to go as long. There were more lanes open. We were just there 12/27/17 and there were only 2 lanes open which meant the lines were long and it takes longer to get a run in. Brundage is not doing the activity barn any favors. It's too bad the family sold out. With little ones it's tough to get them from the stopping point back to the place you get on the conveyor belt. Note in the photos you stop about where the red fencing starts and you have to walk all the way up and around the fencing and back to the conveyor belt. The little ones can sit in the tube on the conveyor belt (as it's hard for a 2-3 year old to stand and impossible for them to hold their own tube) but because the tube is bigger than the conveyor belt it keeps trying to pull it backward and you're fighting to hold it with the kid in all the way to the top. I think changing things back to the way it used to be with more runs open, longer hours, and no conveyor belt (they hook your tube up and pull you up with the rope) would improve things immensely and give people a better experience with more runs. I don't know why the conveyor belt isn't closer to where you end the run. The staff selling tickets are very friendly, the tent for eating food and taking a break and the yurt with...

The McCall Activity Barn is an excellent destination for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors and have some fun in Idaho. This unique attraction is located in the scenic town of McCall, nestled in the Payette National Forest.

The Activity Barn offers a wide range of activities, making it a perfect spot for families, couples, or groups of friends. The highlight of the Activity Barn is its tubing hill, which is a thrilling and exciting ride for people of all ages. The hill features multiple lanes, so you can race your friends down the hill for a fun and friendly competition.

In addition to tubing, the Activity Barn offers many other activities, including skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and even a bungee trampoline. There is truly something for everyone, and you will not run out of things to do here.

The facilities at the Activity Barn are excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a warming hut where you can grab a hot drink or a snack, and plenty of space to sit and relax between activities.

Overall, I highly recommend the McCall Activity Barn for anyone looking for a fun and exciting way to enjoy the winter season in Idaho. Whether you're a seasoned skier or just looking for a new experience, the Activity Barn is sure to deliver a memorable and...

If I could give zero stars I would. We didn't realize you couldn't move around slightly on the lift - I walked forward about 3 steps to be with my group - and when we got to the top we were told rudely by the "kid" running it to stop, which we did. Next time up we heard him say he was going to "mess with us so we would fall". There was only one other family there at that time so he would wait until they were off and then either slow it down so much that it took FOREVER to get to the top or slow it down to a crawl and then speed it up quickly so we would lose our balance. It became kind of dangerous so we spoke to the manager who moved him from the top to the bottom of the lift. He then called me a bit** and told the other staff he wanted to punch my son in law in the face (he had told the young man to be more respectful when he spoke to me). These childish comments went on and on ruining our experience. At one point we took a break and the manager put him back on top running the lift. Needless to say we weren't going to ride with him at the controls. The managers fix at this point ("because kids will he kids") was to give us our money back. So while it could be a good spot to tube, I would never give them my business again. We will stick to Bogus Basin, which btw is a great...

What happened? Well, the new ownership apparently doesn’t care about its return customers, or about false advertising. On their website they advertise that season pass holders get 10% off at Activity Barn. I called today for tickets, and the lady said “oh, sorry, we haven’t updated our website.” When I got a bit frustrated to ask her to fix it (there was no yelling or name calling or any kind of abuse), she quickly hung up. We have bought season passes for seven years counting at Brundage... and to be treated like this is very poor! I get it that it’s hard to run a resort operation in COVID - but c’mon, it’s been hard on all of us. It doesn’t excuse being rude, or excuse false advertising. Anyway, about the Activity Barn, it’s decent but pricey... and with the lack of friendliness on the part of the staff, we would go elsewhere if there was any elsewhere.

This is the coolest place to bring the whole family for a fun day on the tubing hill. When they first opened around 2004, it wasn't what it is now. They've added more things like the magic carpet for the ride to the top, and the runs are extremely fun. I would recommend buying your tickets online as this place is usually busy. Your time here will fly by, and you won't be able to get the kids off the hill. It's a fun activity in the winter, enjoy!
