What a statement piece! The rich history behind the cross is made available and what a story! There is a gift shop with a viewing deck of the surrounding countryside with binoculars available. There are snacks and drinks available as well as a small restaurant. There are picnic tables under a pavilion available as well ! And the sheer beauty of the cross and the countryside will take your breath away! You can see three states, the Mississippi river and a couple small towns in the area. The drive up to the cross is beautiful and not ridiculously steep. I would recommend people of all ages to come and see for yourself. It will not disappoint. Easter sunrise Would be amazing here, also they do the blessing of the jeeps and blessing of the bikes during various times...
