Beardstown Park District — Attraction in Illinois

This is one of the worst pool experiences I have ever had. I was only in there for about ten minutes when my bad experiences happened. When I asked for a refund since I was only in there for a short amount of time, the teenagers rudely told me that they don't do refunds. It smelled the human feces and everything was just gross. I felt like if I were to walk into the bathrooms without shoes on, that I'd get a foot fungus. The floors were absolutely DISGUSTING. On another note, there is no where in the pool rules that it states that a person cannot swim in the "deep end" of the pool. I came to the pool specifically to tread water. I was less than two feet from the rope, nowhere near the diving board or zipline, and was told that I wasn't allowed to swim there. I thought that was absolutely REDICULUS and bullshit. The lifeguards get to make up their own rules when they are too damn lazy to actually do their jobs. Most of the staff was rude to the customers and not very friendly. I will not be coming back to this...

Great place to take family for a day in the park. The swimming pool is across from. Families make a day of swimming, then go over to park to have picnic while kids play on play ground. I love taking my family here. Many thing to do, from swimming, fishing, trail walking, to frisbee golf, and tennis, basketball courts and softball field. They discriminate against people who can't afford swimsuits or people who are just too big for them they have a sign up saying swimsuits required babies who are too young and playing the splash pad should be able to wear their little onesies or onesies in shorts they should not have to be required to wear a swimsuit some swimsuits are too big or too small for the babies they are discriminating against a...
