Devil’s Standtable Nature Trail — Attraction in Illinois

Nice trail with some cool rocks to climb and when I say climb, I mean like from one rock to the other not going up. Rock jumping? It was a cool place to check out although I think I got confused by the signs and ended my hike earlier than the loop intended. I did not bring my wieners on this trail because I was not sure they could do the initial "stair" (in quotes because the stairs where not even length nor height). I was super glad I didn't bring them because there was no way they would have been able to climb? Rock jump? Or just even keep up with us while we were doing it. It has been a few days, but I do not remember there being seating near the trail or close to the parking lot, but there was plenty of shade so my mom could pop out her camping chair and...

i absolutly love this place. pure nature is anyone's best friend. the hikes and trials are beautiful. at this particuliar spot a group of kids from indiana was splunking awesome to see that. i of course chose to climb the cliffs with out any gear at all what a thrill that was. id recommend this place for anyone to get out enjoy nature at its best the fresh air and the beauty and history...

It's an amazing hike. Although the place has changed from the last time I was there due to many fallen trees and erosion. Still a great place to go. The state does need to get someone out there to clean up the trees. There is a waterfall there only if you go right after it rains. And plenty of pretty...
