Awesome view of the dam and surrounding environs; one of the larger overlooks, with multiple vantage points and even some seating. Not a terrible hike from the visitor's center; we did about 3 miles to hit French and Wildcat Canyons and the overlooks in about 1 1/2 hours.

Extensive deck built to admire the river, watch for eagles and view Starved Rock from a distance so as to admire the beauty of the changing seasons. Eagle Cliff is a favorite of Starved Rock visitors and hikers.

45 minute walk to get here , but we'll worth the view , LOTS OF STAIRS lol 😆, but trust me you will love it once you finally arrive,
