Such a beautiful bridge! I could feel the history in every beam and every bolt and I found myself walking it many times and taking in the views of the bridge as well as the surroundings. I will say parking area and how to get to it is has a lot to be desired as far as being marked in a very visible fashion & think that may help attract more visitors as well. I wound up parking across the street and I didn't mind the walk in the park but crossing what is obviously a main road on an extremely busy day can be very difficult. Get ready to run across the street as soon as you don't see or hear a vehicle and that can be difficult as the road bends & turns & it's difficult to see oncoming traffic. There is a memorial to all branches of the military and also a memorial to lives lost locally & also by national tragedy. It's a peaceful area decorated with colorful flowers, flags of tge different military branches as well as POW's, well kept lawns , benches & plaques which explain the dedication. There's a,stream that runs under the bridge which I did see a few people in kayaks & small fishing boats. It is definitely a place to go...

Pack a picnic, grab your camera and be sure to check out the Princeton Red Covered Bridge, just...
