I just got married to my husband at IG a couple weeks ago and it was incredible! It's a wonderful space to enjoy the outdoors certainly, but they transform it into an incredible, warm, romantic wedding venue. Even in early April when most of the trees are still brown, it was beautiful! The lake made for a perfect background view during the ceremony and reception, and the sunset was stunning and made a beautiful backdrop for dinner and for photos. The food was also incredible, and I'm not kidding when I say the fact that they offer desserts that include edible cookie dough through their preferred food vendor was one of the reasons we picked the venue. Everyone agreed that it was some of the best food they've had at a wedding. Everyone we worked with at IG was incredibly helpful, especially Tiffany Otis, our day of coordinator. She helped make sure our nearly 200-person wedding went off without a hitch. There's plenty of parking for guests who drive in, and there's a hotel literally across the road, as well as other hotels nearby. They also offer a bus shuttle service should you choose it that was incredibly clutch. Highly highly highly recommend you consider Independence Grove for your wedding!
