Lovely residential area for those who want to be away from the city but want the same amenities. Well maintained. Nice marina, the golf course is very well taken care of and the Club House has a nice little pro shop. There are two swimming pools (one indoor, one outside) with multiple, well-trained lifeguards, an expansive RV park with graded spots with electric hook ups. They have Winter skiing and they just recently opened up the new Riding Stables. For any one who lives ATV riding, they have trails for that sport too. They have a miniature golf course, a Country Store and cabin rentals outside of the Lake Carroll gates. There is also a lovely Winery, Silver Moon, approximately one-half of a mile from the lake are with beautiful, rolling vineyards and a sweet little tasting room. All in all, this is the perfect place to bring a family. The schools are exceptionally good and parents are highly encouraged to be involved. The High School has a great sports program and a wonderful 4-H program.
