The road can be sketchy, it gradually goes to a single lane path and one section has steep grade with some wash out gully but you can straddle them. I pulled a travel trailer and because i was already committed I had to go for it. I should have dropped the trailer before i took the road but we made it. We would not have made it if it was a wet or slippery day. Some areas there are very few places to pass a car you meet. The parking lot is spacious. We were here the first of April, once all the trees are leaved out you will really have to climb to the bottom to see the arch. If you have any mobility or strength issues skip this. Its a moderate climb down with the path in need of serious reconstruction. Coming back up will get a cardio workout. I'm 70 and good health and enjoyed it but I'd pass if i were 5 years older. Also i skipped going all the way to the bottom, if i slipped and fell and hurt myself I had no help at the time and I don't bounce like I use to. A great place for tweens and older to explore and climb.

NOTE: 1/3 mile trail loop with dramatic changes in elevation. Easy difficulty but good shoes with traction and/or a good walking stick are recommended. Beautiful area off a secluded road. Enjoy the gorgeous old growth pines on the way in. Trail loop is short but you can spend plenty of time wandering the creek, bluff, and around the bridge. You can both walk across the rock bridge and under it. Late March there were plenty of spring flowers (shooting stars, spring beauty, Dutchmen breeches, etc.) and fiddleheads. An elegant Red Bud coming up next to the bridge in bloom definitely catches the eye and accents the area in early spring.

Short hike to a natural stone bridge. (Long drive on gravel roads to get here! Keep going after Google says you're there! Go until you reach the parking lot.) Quick hike if you're in shape. Not for those who can't do steep gravel trails, or have poor balance! The trail goes across the bridge, which is not super narrow, but isn't wide enough for two across. Exploring under the bridge is quite neat! We came during a dry spell, so no water was flowing through the creek. It was also a Saturday afternoon, and not busy! We encountered one other group, but ended up with the whole path to ourselves!

It was kind of neat.

The road is one lane and gravel for a few miles... not sure what you're expected to do if you meet someone else. Luckily, it was deserted when I went.

If you've ever been to Arches or Canyonlands this will be a let down, but if it's your first exposure to an arch, it's fun.

Fair warning: there's some sort of wasp (I didn't get a good look) that lives in the canyon below the arch that will absolutely get pissed off at you and chase you all the way back uphill to your car.

Also, the time estimates on the signage are off. It's like a 10-15m walk, round trip, and should be doable by most people in decent health that aren't being CHASED BY AN...
