REVIEW UPDATE. This is a first for me. I had reviewed the facility 3 stars out of 5 for the reason below. Jeff the owner added a comment. then him and I have spoken privately. I explained a little more in detail of the situation, and he was open ears on the matter and never once said well my employee was right or tried to make an excuse him. He is going to use this situation as a training situation for his employees which I think is really cool. This should show people you don't have to scream yell or fight to get your point across. This situation was handled by two adults and now both sides are happy. Jeff runs a top tier business.
Ok, this place was good and bad. I brought my 3 kids here.I really liked the different options that they had. I like that they have the card, and everything is on there, but at the same time, I don't like that. I bought the 3 packs for all of my kids. And then I purchased a putt putt for myself. When I went to go get my golf ball for the putt putt, it said that there was nothing on my card now. They did fix that, not an issue, but it's moved on. There were no issues with the go kart. There were no issues with skating. I will have to say for Skating place, the pizza was actually pretty good. Now, let's get into the bad things. I had all the same amount of money.Put on my kids' card to play at the arcade. My 7-year-old and 13-year-old daughter both played the exact same games at the same time when it came for them to want to play ski ball.My youngest daughter did not have the same amount as her sister. No issues didn't make a complaint. I went and put another dollar on her card. So now my daughter goes and plays a game on her own.She goes to play the rain toss game that accepted the dollar but would not letter play. I went and spoke to the girl that I just bought the dollar from and kind of got the feeling that she thought we were lying about what was going on, but I moved on. She got the manager. He put a dollar on, and my daughter went and played another game. Went to go see how many tickets my kids had on their cards. My one daughter had 96. My other daughter had 97. My thirteen year old got a little pack of plain cards and two putty bouncy things. My youngest daughter got 2 of the putty bouncy things that were 25 tickets each. The young man Behind the counter tells my youngest daughter. She has six tickets left. Very nicely, I stated to him. That is not right 25 and 25 is 50. She should still have 46 tickets left. 96 - 50 is 46. He then tells me that my daughter got some little smiley thing and I said we walked up here with nothing in our hands and had 96 tickets. Now she has 2 things in her hands. That amount up to 50.Where did you learn how to do math. Then he tells me that my other daughter still has like 30 tickets left on hers.I'm pretty sure he was getting the screens.Mixed up on which daughter was rich daughter. I tried asking him to just make it right and he wouldn't do it, then.He kind of got a little cocky with me and I said you know what? It's not even worth it.I'll just never come back here. To some people, this might sound petty. But to my 7-year-old daughter. Her heart was completely broken because she knows how to do math and she knows she got screwed. Besides that 1 incident at the very end.It was a very nice...
Read moreWhen the business opened nothing was ready. There was a wait for everything, arcade games were not even powered on. The go-carts were not ready so we thought we would do laser tag, well we had to wait on the operator running the go-carts to operate the laser tag. They had maybe three people running the whole show. The staff clearly hate their job and it shows through their attitudes. After the laser tag, we ventured to the bumper cars, also had to wait on the same staff (laser tag person) to start the bumper cars. Overall it is a very neat place, the biggest skating rink I have scene in years! Very cool atmosphere and lots of stuff to do. But for the prices they are charging the management/staff needs to up their par. One of the games broke down and had to get two different people involved just so we could get a refund on the broken game. Cool place, kids will love it, just be prepared to wait, deal with unfriendly staff, and pay for everything individually. Awesome that the owner replied and apologized! In my opinion that shows that they do care, maybe it was just a bad day. We are going to give it...
Read moreGreat place to take your kids. Pricing is reasonable except for the food. They really need to step their game up with the food. There is a nice eating area and a great menu with plenty of options. Then you wait in line as you would anywhere else. But there's one person taking money. There's one person making food. To get one person through it takes at least five minutes. Hopefully your not 4th in line with kids. That alone ruins the fun. Then you get to the counter and can tell the employee is super stoked to be there /s. I don't think I've seen one person behind that counter smile. You finally get your food and its extremely bland. I've been here a hundred times and I've never enjoyed eating there. I get it; it's for kids and kids don't care. It's not a restaurant. But the kids aren't spending the money. You don't allow outside food I'm sure to give us adults something that can take our minds away from screaming children for a few minutes. It's not the 90s. People will pay for premium food. You fix that and it makes all the other issues...
