Scenic park with nicely shaded spaces. We visited for the World of Faeries Festival in August. This was a perfect venue with its open areas and large trees. Parking can be a little confusing, at least for this event. Restrooms are in a small building; stalls are narrow, seats are low, and hand-washing water is only cold. Bring your own lawn chairs for this festival. There are picnic tables and some folding chairs, but more attendees than seating. We enjoyed performances by several folk musicians at the small pavilion. This is where we discovered the charming music of Camille and Kennerly - aka, "The Harp Twins!" A fun local venue for this kind of festival! Lots of activities for children of all ages. Dogs are not permitted (except service dogs).

Scenic Scandinavian Park along Fox River. The management is continually improving playground, garden, gazebo, and facilities. Well done!

This is a beautiful park on the Fox River! It has a large covered picnic area and nice, clean restrooms. We’ve had our company picnic there for the last few years and it’s just perfect!! Lots of room to spread out, play games and set up small tents and chairs. I highly...

My daughter was married at this venue under the huge oak trees along the Fox River. Staff was very helpful and cost was reasonable. I also attend Scandinavian Day in each Sept. Great music, dance, cool venders from 3 states and...
