As far as the park goes, it's a park.. I went because the park has a campground ... so that is what my review is based on. I've spent 3 years traveling the country and stopping at places to camp and this is the first $30.00 city park campground that I've ever come across. There is electric and a dump station ( which is $5 if not camping ) there is a nice Frisbee golf course and a few play areas .. but there is no geode collecting allowed ( signs are posted ). There is a shower and toilet that those who are camping can use but it is a long but walkable distance from the campground and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't lock the door .. so I was not able to use it. The parking pads are level and the picnic tables are not .. it was impossible to find the rate online but I never would have gone if I knew...

The grounds maintenance man was really great and did an awesome job keeping the park clean. All the sites have electricity and water and they have WIFI. they accommodate RV and tents. The city is small but friendly and although there isn't much in town the pharmacy had fruit and some other groceries and the Mexican restaurant was really good. Just a few minutes across the river the city has more restaurants...

Be kind, don't litter, and help keep Wildcat Springs as the natural habitat...
