We come here for the Dog Park. It’s very “clean” and well kept. It seems as though all of the other patrons follow the rules and make the experience is great for everyone. There’s some room for improvement, but it would be petty suggestions. It’s really a fantastic place for our area. The park paths are in good condition, and it’s all very scenic. The bathrooms outside the nature center are amazing for a park, and the staff inside the nature center are exceptionally helpful and nice.

Frequently visit here for the dog park. In order to get in your must have an annual membership which you can get from the Willowhaven Office. The park is very clean and all the dog owners pick up after their dogs. If there is a lot of rain prepare for the grounds to be flooded, but it will dry out within a few days usually. Would be nice if they included some water features in the dog park for the dogs to be able to swim and cool down in the summer heat.

A delightful, peaceful and clean environment. There were healthy trees, bushes, flowers, unique butterflies, pond water, decks, walking trail, benches, picnic spots, kiddy park, and no crowd. A discovery! I even saw a beautiful stork. It was a treat on a sunny summer day. The nature center was welcoming. The staff was friendly and activities for children and adults were laid out in a fun learning environment.

Update 10/23 - Unfortunately the pond got taken over by carp and all the frogs eggs gotten eaten. You'll be lucky to see a single frog. You will see tons of aquatic turtles thought as they will come up to the docks looking for you to give them food. They are starving due to the carp.

Willowhaven tried unsuccessfully to get the state or county to come out and clean out the carp. They were promised that would happen and it never did. This is a case of carp ruining what once was a vibrant and fertile location.

The museum has been closed.

That said, great carp fishing. A nice walk. Fresbie Golf course and great kit flying most days. We still love it.

Fantastic park. You can actually see live wildlife like frogs, snakes, bunnies and so on. It's good for walking as well. Consistent catch and release small pond.

Very nice nature history focus museum with a great friendly staff. Highly recommend for the nature fan...

While I was hoping to leave this a 5 star, I can not. The venue itself is beautiful. However, when we arrived, the cleanliness of the area was not good. If you book for an event, I would leave extra time at the beginning to go in and clean well. I did message the venue in the hope that they will be more aware and make improvements for the next group. In addition, make sure you not only communicate with the person you're booking with but also the staff upon your arrival. We went over in time, I cleared it with the booking person and knew I was going to be charged extra. Apparently, the staff did not know and said something to my daughter, which upset her. Personally, I will not book with them again. It is unfortunate because it truly is a...

Has a nice building to learn about nature, great for a few hours visit. I don't have a dog, but the large Dog Runs look amazing. There is a small playground structure for kids, and since it's not busy most of the time, it's good for small children to play on. The Frisbee golf course is used often, at least each of the many times I've been there. The walking trails (or the Human Runs as I call them) are great for quick 30-45 minute walks, runs or biking. The only negative I've found is the area gets flooded (there's a pond) easily with a medium to heavy rain, sometimes washing out parts of the trails and the frisbee...
