Wolf Covered Bridge — Attraction in Illinois

Wolf Covered Bridge. Invokes mental images of wolves running across a bridge. Wolves howling to the moon. Wolves spraying graffiti over a bridge replica. Well, if you imagined one of those, you would be close. Wolf Covered Bridge is a publicly-accessible bridge in which you can drive on, graffiti on, ponder life on and also graffiti. While I jest about the graffiti (it is bad, don’t get me wrong), I am sure whoever takes care of the bridge does try to cover up most of it when time allows.

While the bridge isn’t anything great to look at, the scene around the bridge is beautiful. If you do stop to check out the bridge, stop and read some of the graffiti. You might get a chuckle out of some of it. The ‘I Heart Beer’ one is...
