Faery Cave isn't that deep, nor that wide, but it's interesting if you'd like to explore something a bit different while at Jenny Jump State Forest. The trail from the parking lot to get there hugs the edge of Ghost Lake, but isn't very long to get to the cave, which was easily accessible when we went there.

While the main cave isn't particularly impressive, I found some of the other, smaller voids connected to it more interesting. Though I didn't climb into any of them, an intrepid soul may find them rewarding--or get stuck trying to climb into them, as they have much...

Went to ghost lake, and it's absolutely gorgeous during the winter. Didn't walk on the ice because we didn't see that many footsteps and weren't sure how thick the ice was. We ended up walking around the ice for a bit until my friend heard noises and I didn't- we just blew it off. Be warned. It's a very small cave and not worth going out of your way to see... but nearby Shades of Death Road and the trails at Jenny Jump are worth checking out if you're in the area.
