Everyone here is super nice & passionate about Astronomy. Really glad I came here and everyone should give it a try at least once. It's a great place to learn about the stars in a friendly way.

I recently bought my first telescope. They invited me to bring it next time and help me get it set up and teach me about it.

I'd bring a small red headlamp (a very weak flashlight is fine). I talked to a lot of people but wasn't even able to see their faces. Bug spray is useful. Make sure you have appropriate clothing! It can get cold...

They have a free summer Saturday night program with a fun and short lecture followed by star gazing using one of several powerful telescopes far away from light pollution. You will be amazed by Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, and literally millions of stars waiting for you to discover.
