Well we had 4 grand kids birthdays this week and figured the train ride would be nice.We got their an hour early and looked around. Boarding time was 3:00 and the train got their close to 4:00. We got on and couldn't find even two seats together.A man in the concession area asks if he could help us. I said yes thanks we need some seats. He said well best I can tell you go look! I said we just paid over 120.00 in tickets so he said it doesn't guarantee yo a seat. LOL! Their around 1 or 2 here or their. Train started moving with us and a lot of people standing up without seats. After the next stop we did find seats scattered and not where we could be anywhere together.Train ride may have been nice otherwise. They take people on and off at each stop so it changes. Ran out of the food kids was wanting so we stopped to eat on way home at cracker barrel and my grand daughter remarked how cracker barrel was the best thing about today. I would suggest if you go just do singles and pairs. All in all I won't recommend it to anyone.really didn't get off on the help arguing with me or my...

They was running up and down the Isle, blocking the Isle plus standing on the seats. They would hit people as they passed by them. They had hit us several times while there parents just sat there. My boyfriend got so upset that he had to go get a conductor to remind people of the rules but soon as the conductor left they started acting up again... this was truly upsetting because it was my handicap son first time on a train ride. We was hoping it would be exciting for him instead it was full of anxiety...very upsetting and...
Read moreI am writing entirely from a cyclists point of view here. The 3 dollars is an amazing deal when you want to ride and not worry about turning around. I have rode the train twice this past weekend. The first I got on at botzum and rode back to Akron at I think it was 10:10 am, not that crouded and the staff is freindly. The next day I boarded at station road bridge and rode back to Akron. The train was very busy but really when your payin 3 bucks you will take what you get. My advice get on the train at the first 2 stops to guarantee your seat. The food on the train is very reasonably priced. All in all an amazing...
