Heartland Acres Agribition Center — Attraction in Independence

My husband and I had our ceremony & reception at Heartland Acres. Brian was our event coordinator, and was super easy to work with! He was informative, and made sure he knew all our details for the day so he could help make sure everything was smooth. He checked in with us throughout the night, which was much appreciated! A huge perk was that we could set up all day Friday, and use the space for the rehearsal. The only downside I could point out is there is no getting ready space for guys/gals. Beautiful venue, new and clean facility. Close to hotel, but even though the facade on the outside is a red barn and gorgeous, it's anything but rustic and homey on the inside.

Very nice.... Just not what I was expecting. It was a very nice business asethetic. Tables all in massive long rows like a cafeteria. Just seemed very plain and practical... Which is fine.

My cousin had there wedding and reception here recently. The entire property was well maintained, gazebo and pond looked great for the ceremony. Inside the reception area was huge with plenty of room for everyone. Upstairs there was a antique car museum that I look forward to checking out again in the future.
